ARCHANGEL Front Splitter

If you clicked on the ARCHANGEL splitter, you know that the GT350R will push at the limit. One of the ways to mitigate that tendancy is to add more aero downforce on the front of the car. The ARCHANGEL does just that. It's LARGE. 6" of projection and a 75.5" width. It's also 20% stiffer than the other front splitters available on the website. It uses a thicker .510 material that also has added consolidation. It runs 2 pairs of billet aluminum support rods that are chassis mounted. It will pass the stand on your splitter test!
There was extra attention on the lightening pockets that are machined into the top surface of the splitter. Pocketing for standard Delignit skids was also added. This splitter ships with the standard 6mm thick Delignit. 2mm of that is in the counterbore, leaving 4mm of material to take the abuse. If your intent is chasing PBs or a one day Time Attack event, I suggest also adding the thinner 4mm skids. Only 2mm of material will be exposed, helping underneath airflow and cutting Delignit skid weight by 33%.
Spill plates are a new feature and standard with the ARCHANGEL. The spill plates will aid in propogating high pressure air on the top of the splitter and mitigating spill to the lower pressure underside.
The leading edge of the splitter has a half radius that helps with airflow and will allow the splittere to ride up curbing easier. The radiused edge quickly transitions to the Delignit skid to help protect the splitter from track abrasion.
